We found some great data that Mike Maciag has compiled at Governing.com showing job growth and loss by state for the first six months of 2016. Maciag notes in his article that the biggest gainers are in the West with Oregon and Nevada growing at the fastest rates (+1.7%) in the six months since December 2015. Wyoming (-2.1%) and North Dakota (-1.5%) posted the highest percentage of job losses during the same period.
