Geo-Label Defaults

Before copying and pasting data from your spreadsheet into the FactLook wizard it’s helpful to have a basic understanding of the default method geo-labels are displayed in the wizard. This allows you to prep your spreadsheet so that your rows of data match the default geo-labels in the FactLook wizard. When using the wizard to set up your template, the data rows can be sorted and organized by clicking on the column headers (clicking twice reverses the order ex: ascending or descending numbers).

The following table shows the default organization of geo-labels in the wizard:

Alphabetical (California, Colorado, Delaware, etc.)
– ZIP CODES
– CENSUS TRACTS
– CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICTS
Sequential (40205, 40206, 40225, etc.)
– CUSTOM AREA
– SPECIFIC ADDRESS / DROP PIN
N/A, as blank grid is displayed and data will be
pasted into first and only cell
